Our Foundation Plan Service

We thought we would share with you some of the steps that make up our Foundation Financial Planning Service.


Introductory Meeting – this is an opportunity to get to know each other a little better over a coffee, tea or even a beer. At the end of the meeting we will agree whether we would be a good fit for each other. We can arrange this meeting face-to-face or via a video meeting.

We love meeting new people so this meeting is always at our expense.


Commitment Call – once we have agreed to work together we will email you a host of documents for you to complete and return to us.

Don’t worry if you can’t complete every section, we can go through any gaps in our Action Call.


Action Call – we’ll go through the information you have provided and we’ll agree an action plan which may include:

  • Goal setting, income and expenditure analysis, setting a budget.

  • Looking at life cover – particularly relevant for those with young families.

  • Assessment of investment risk and investment recommendations.

  • Discussions around tax planning if appropriate.

  • Overview of workplace pension and guidance around fund selection.

  • Referral to a mortgage specialist if required.


Annual check-up - This will include an Annual Review Report and a meeting by way of a video call to ensure everything is on track.
